TEA-START, hosted by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), is looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow to project future changes in extreme precipitation in Eurasia and North Africa after bias-correction of the newest generation of CMIP model simulations.
The candidate must possess a PhD degree on atmospheric sciences and must come from Eurasian countries or North African countries, having a basic knowledge of the study region. Good English writing and speaking skills are required. Native English speakers from these countries are preferred.
This position is part of the CAS President’s International Fellowship Initiative, PIFI, is a specific funding program to attract talented foreigners to CAS for scientific exchanges and research cooperation. It is open to scientific research personnel from around the globe.
