Early-Career Network of Past Global Changes Researchers
April 5, 2018

In an increasingly competitive job market, the years during and shortly after the PhD have become critically important to identify and develop viable career paths to becoming independent, successful researchers. Unfortunately, many ECRs are not always adequately prepared for the competitive nature of today’s academic market.

The Early-Career Network (ECN) of the PAGES (Past Global Changes) project is designed to address this issue. This group aims to facilitate the exchange of ideas and skill sets in order to give ECRs the tools to excel as researchers. Additionally, this network will aid in the dissemination of information, establish vital scientific networks, and foster the development of research ideas that can lead to future research collaborations and improved job prospects.

A series of webinars and events will be organized throughout 2018 and 2019.
