Sixteen early-career researchers and professionals from five West African countries are currently participating in the Promoting Gains in Renewable Energy (ProGREEN) Leadership Fellows Program. So far, the fellows have participated in six virtual leadership lab modules and accompanying live Zoom sessions, two mini-tech labs on technical themes relating to renewable energy, and three virtual communications labs and live Zoom sessions. The themes covered so far include, impactful collaborations, systems thinking, foresight, reflexivity and empathy, flexibility, and  Learning and Growing in the Face of Discomfort and Uncertainty. Here, we hear directly from two ProGREEN Leadership Fellows about their experiences with the program so far.
