On 30 January 2020 a workshop in Rabat, Morocco, brought together international and regional experts to discuss energy transition and renewable energies in Africa.

The event was organized by START International, with the Royal Institute for Strategic Studies (IRES) and the Québec Office in Rabat (Bureau de Québec à Rabat).

The meeting provided an opportunity to reflect on challenges and opportunities for energy transition in Africa and to share emerging results from the ProGREEN assessments in Burkina Faso and Senegal.
