The AsiaGlobal Fellows Program is a 13-week residential Program organized under the auspices of the Asia Global Institute at the University of Hong Kong. The Program seeks to inspire and network global leaders committed to making a positive impact on society. The 2018 Program will run from August 20 to November 16. It will bring together up to 16 mid-career individuals (normally with 8 to 25 years of work experience) from around the world who are engaged in public policy analysis and advising. The Fellows will be drawn from government, civil society and business. They will have an interest in Asia and in examining contemporary global issues from Asian perspectives.
Program activities include seminars, lectures, mutual learning activities, and leadership skills workshops. The Fellows are also encouraged to organize their own lecture series, and they are required to write a policy paper on a subject of their choice. The Program also features visits to other Asian cities and various institutions around Hong Kong. Fellows obtain access to Hong Kong University’s facilities and are encouraged to participate in campus activities.
