The International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) will host the International Youth Forum “Future of Eurasian and European Integration: Foresight-2040” during December 4-8 2017 in Laxenburg, Austria.

Talented early-career researchers are invited to participate in exploratory discussions on the possible futures of the Greater Eurasian space in 2040, from economic, humanitarian, and security perspectives.

Participants will have the opportunity to expand their scientific network; learn about economic integration in the Greater Eurasian space from leading international scientists; and debate with high-level policymakers.

Selected participants will have the chance to present results from the forum to the OSCE Ministerial Council, which comprises all 57 delegations of OSCE countries.

The forum is a part of the IIASA Futures Initiative Challenges and Opportunities of Economic Integration within a wider European and Eurasian Space.
