This research will improve understanding of the systemic factors contributing to flood resilience under changing climate conditions in Gorakhpur disrcit. It will identify practical strategies for integrating disaster risk mangement and climate adaptation. Research to identify systemic factors within regions that contribute to resilience or exacerbate vulnerability will improve the ability to identify practical points where intervention could build resilience and institutions that have the capacity to intervene.
